“Arrow Electronics is fortunate to have a leader of Allison’s caliber guiding innovation forward for our transformative e-commerce business,” said Cathy Morris, senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Arrow Electronics. “During her 20-year Arrow career, Allison has developed an unparalleled understanding of what it takes to help our customers and suppliers succeed. It’s been exciting to watch Allison grow into progressively challenging roles within Arrow—I can’t wait to see where her Arrow career will take her next.”

Allison began her 20-year Arrow career in an entry-level finance position. Her drive to be on the front lines of the action and oversee the strategic growth of the company led her to quickly rise through the ranks. She was recently promoted to a new position within Arrow where she is creating cohesion between Arrow’s traditional distribution business and the digital ecosystem. Prior to that role, she served as vice president of sales enablement for Arrow’s components business where she oversaw a team of 300.

Allison is passionate about breaking down barriers for other women to succeed, and she mentors four or five women at a time with the goal of guiding the next level of Arrow’s leadership forward. She is actively involved in several charities and served on the board of the chamber of commerce for the Denver Tech Center for the 2014-2015 term.

Winners of the annual "Women Worth Watching" award represent corporations, government agencies and nonprofits from across North America and Europe. They were nominated by their employers for their passion, their potential and their positive influence both inside and outside the workplace. These leaders join the ranks of thousands of past winners, several whom have gone on to become CEO of Fortune 500 companies.
