Partners Biogen Idec and Elan Corp. lead drug stocks lower in early activity as shares of the companies fall on news that European regulators are reviewing the safety of their multiple sclerosis drug Tysabri.

Pharmaceutical stocks trade flat and their biotech counterparts los ground in early trading, but Pfizer bucks the trend, gaining as the blue-chip drugmaker issues a better-than-expected earnings report.

Among the companies' shares expected to see active trade in Tuesday’s session are those of Pfizer, Coca-Cola and Yahoo.

Among the companies whose shares are expected to see active trade in Monday’s session are Allion, Apple, Eaton, Facet Biotech, Hasbro, InterDigital, Nokia, Pfizer, TI and Weatherford.
