Amendments to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws; Change in Fiscal Year.
|
On March 24, 2010, the Board of Directors of General Maritime Corporation (the “Corporation”) amended Article I, Section 1.12 of the Corporation’s By-Laws to further describe details of the proper form of the written notice required to be provided to the Corporation by any shareholder proposing to bring business before an annual meeting of shareholders. The Corporation's By-Laws were also amended to remove references to certain titles of officers that the Corporation does not use. A copy of the Amended and Restated By-Laws is attached as Exhibit 3.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
