On October 17, 2007, Lakeland Bancorp, Inc. disseminated a press release reporting third quarter results for the period ended September 30, 2007. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

In the press release referred to in Item 2.02, the Company reported the following events: A $0.10 cash dividend was declared on October 16, 2007. The cash dividend will be paid on November 15, 2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 31, 2007. A 5% stock dividend was declared on October 16, 2007. The stock dividend will be paid on November 16, 2007 to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 31, 2007.
