TENET TO HOST CONFERENCE CALL ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 11, 2011, AT 8:30 A.M. ET

DALLAS – January 10, 2011 – Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced that it will host a conference call tomorrow, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at 8:30 A.M. Eastern Time to introduce its Outlook for 2011, and discuss the Company’s strategies and current business trends.

The company is hosting the call to provide a more comprehensive presentation than would otherwise be possible as part of Tenet’s scheduled appearance at the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference on January 12. Because Tenet is hosting this call, it will not attend the conference.

A live webcast of the conference call will be available on Tenet’s website at www.tenethealth.com. In addition, a presentation will be available on Tenet’s website and on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s website at www.sec.gov, prior to the start of the conference call. The webcast and the presentation will also be available through the Thomson StreetEvents Network to both institutional and individual investors. Individual investors can listen to the call at www.fulldisclosure.com, Thomson’s individual investor portal, powered by StreetEvents.
