Jazz Pharmaceuticals to buy Celator Pharmaceuticals

Jazz Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: JAZZ) will pay a premium of approximately $1.5 billion to acquire Celator Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: CPXX). Shares of Jazz Pharmaceuticals slipped 53 cents to close at $151.56 while Celator Pharmaceuticals stock leaped $12.55 to close at $30.08.
