Kimyette Saunders-Bouie has been a nurse for almost three decades. She has studied at LaSalle University and The Germantown Hospital and Medical Center School of Nursing. She is currently studying under The John Maxwell Team. Today, she uses her experience as a nurse and a life coach to help other nurses develop the skills that affords them the ability to come to terms with past traumas and move forward with a positive mindset.
A successful transformational mindset coach, Kimyette works with women to free them from beliefs that limit them and replace those with powerful affirmations that energize the spirit. She guides people into recognizing and appreciating the opportunities that life presents.

Kimyette Saunders-Bouie of SauBou Inc. said, “For hundreds of years, women of color have been disenfranchised, where their rights have been stolen and ripped from their bosom. Literally and figuratively. Some women have even lost sight of who they are and what their purpose is. The dreams have been buried and their self-worth a thing of the past. Historically, women of colour hid behind the skirts of non-women of color and the shirttails of men. Now, that way of life felt so familiar.
“Unbeknownst to me, I started this journey when I was a child. I began asking the questions of why, who I am, and what my purpose is. Throughout my life, I have experienced racism, colorism, and sexism. I’ve even gone through sexual trauma. So, the love for self had been suffocated. And I grew up feeling silenced and alone. And for years, I didn’t know how to work through or even tap into the urgency of knowing that there was more. But I didn’t let that stop me.
“I want black women to tap into their divine femininity, rediscovering who they really are, and show up as Bosses. I’m on a mission to guide women on a path to break down the chains that hold them back, freeing them to believe and achieve infinite possibilities.
