Savvion Customer Micron to Speak at Gartner Business Process Management Summit

Husayn Alvarez-Gomariz, corporate business process manager at Micron, will join other enterprise leaders for the session on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 11:00 a.m. (PT) in the Harbor Island Ballroom III at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, the site of this years Gartner BPM summit.

In the session entitled Scenario-Based Rules Case Study, Gomariz and several leaders from user enterprises will share first hand experience with leveraging scenario-based rules, reviewing the business and technical aspects such as goals, business case, strategy, tools, challenges and benefits, what worked, and what didnt. Micron is a long-time customer of Savvion, which is deployed within Micron for a number of projects. For example, the Data Post Processing Group (DPPG) currently utilizes Savvion within the Design R&D department to assist with photolithography, which is the process used in semiconductor device fabrication. Gomariz is currently tasked with BPM utilization at the corporate level for Micron.
