Canadian stocks greased by energy; Lulu surges

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Canadian shares edged higher Friday, taking the edge off weekly losses, after the government said employers added jobs in August and energy stocks got a lift from a raised forecast for global oil demand.
