CANADA STOCKS-Financials drag TSX to slightly lower close

TORONTO, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index closed a few points lower on Friday as weak U.S. manufacturing data and cautious remarks by the U.S. Federal Reserve weighed on heavyweight financial shares.
