ICBC to buy Fortis U.S. broker unit for $1

China’s ICBC will pay a token $1 to acquire the U.S. broker-dealer operations of Fortis Securities, in what amounts to an opportunity by the world largest bank by market value to expand its underwriting business, The Wall Street Journal reports.
