Envision Solar International, Inc., (OTCBB:EVSI), a leading sustainable infrastructure designer and developer, announces CEO and Founder Robert Noble will present the keynote address at the National Workshop on Innovation Promotion, Technology Transfer and Successful Technology Licensing Conference. The event, April 4 to 7, 2011, is organized by The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cooperation with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) of Trinidad and Tobago Port of Spain. The main focus of the conference is on licensing agreements – the most frequently used method of transfer of knowledge and technology.

Additional speakers include representatives from Trinidad & Tobago’s Ministry of Legal Affairs, the Inventor’s Association, Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Trade and Industry and representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva.

Noble’s presentation, titled “Sustainable Infrastructure, IP Asset Development, and Our Opportunity to End Energy Poverty,” will address technology and intellectual property development challenges and opportunities internationally. Noble will give an overview of Envision Solar’s solar master plans and will outline specific U.S. and international projects including Envision Solar’s solar-powered electric vehicle charging station initiative with General Motors, the Sustainable Infrastructure for Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus, and energy evaluation strategies with GAIA Global SA. Noble will also present Solar Forest™ designs for a major distributed generation project in Gandhinagar, India.

Noble said, “It is an honor to have been selected to discuss renewable energy technology, development and intellectual property strategies with industry, business and government leaders here. Trinidad and Tobago is a small, yet wealthy country, with oil and other energy resources, and they wanted to hear more about innovation, development and promotion of renewable energy technologies on macro and micro levels.”
