LONDON, April 6 (Reuters) - European shares were expected to edge higher on Wednesday, extending a rally that has taken them to their highest in nearly four weeks on optimism about economic growth, but with traders set to remain cautious ahead of a likely interest rate rise by the European Central Bank on Thursday.
