3M Profit Meets Estimates; Japan Earthquake Hit Sales

3M reported quarterly earnings on Tuesday that met analyst forecasts, as strong industrial demand offset lower sales in its displays and graphics division, though the industrial conglomerate said Japan's March earthquake reduced sales and profit margins.
