IRISH PRINTER is the organiser of the IRISH PRINT AWARDS, the premier test of excellence for the Irish printing industry. IRISH PRINTER is the only magazine dedicated to serving the communications needs of the Irish Printing and Graphic Design Arts Industry. The Irish Print Awards, which are judged by independent experts in the print sector, recognise and reward the quality of design, printing and finishing involved in the production of a wide range of printed material, such as newspapers, magazines, books and marketing collateral, including variable data print, print packaging, label printing and vehicle wraps.
AWARD FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN OF PRINTED MATERIAL
Dara Creative WON the category for ‘Graphic Design of Printed Material’ Sponsored by Canon Ireland for the corporate brochure design for Sam Dennigan entitled ‘Driven by Nature’ We would like to offer our gratitude to Member of Staff for their outstanding creativity and keen eye to detail on the design.
THE IRISH DESIGN EFFECTIVENESS AWARDS (IDEA)
IDEA was established in 1994 to reward the client community for their commitment to design. IDEA provides a platform from which design solutions are measured for their economic effectiveness and perceptible influence. The IDEA Awards, and its central philosophy of rewarding design projects of proven effectiveness, continues to raise an understanding of design as a key communications expression and encourages the client community to exploit the power of strategically led design.
AWARD FOR BEST WEB DESIGN
Dara Creative, a leading web design consultancy are pleased to announce that they WON the IDEA award for ‘Web Design’ for the design of the website www.insuremyvan.ie. The award was based not only on visual design but on the effectiveness of the website.www.insuremyvan.ie is now in the top positions on Google for van insurance and is delivering millions of euro in insurance business through the website.
Dara Creative were also runners up in the same category for ‘Web Design’ for their website design for the Health Insurance Authority(HIA) website.www.hia.ie. The HIA is a statutory regulator of the private health insurance market in Ireland. www.hia.ie provides a comparison tool for the health insurers in the irish market and provides valuable information on the Irish health insurance industry. Almost ½ a million visitors have used the website since its launch in December 2009.
Dara Creative would like to thank Brian Maher (Creative Director), Laura Hodson (Senior Designer) and the other members of the design team for their outstanding and award winning graphic and website design work through out the year.
