Halter USX China Index Up 10.23% for First Quarter 2012

For the first quarter 2012, the Halter USX China Index (NYSE Arca: HXC) was up 10.23%. During the same period the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 8.14% while the NASDAQ finished up 18.67%.

HXC is also pleased to announce the inclusion of 4 new constituents to its existing index of China-focused, U.S. listed companies including: Ku6 Media Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: KUTV) which is an online video company; China Finance Online Co. (NASDAQ: JRJC) that is a provider of vertically integrated financial services; Tri-Tech Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: TRIT) is a provider of integrated solutions for China’s water environmental protection industry, including the water pollution remediation, software and engineering industries; and Linktone Ltd. (NASDAQ: LTON) which provides entertainment-oriented telecom value-added services and content to mobile users.

It was also announced that Telestone Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: TSTC), SYSWIN Inc. (NYSE: SYSW), SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPU), and China Yida Holding, Co. (NASDAQ: CNYD) were removed from the Index.
