Using a CNC milling machine this can be done in any material, making such machine a perfect tool for Makers. This will be shown at this year’s World Maker Faire, where machine builder ShopBot Tools (USA) and software builder Delft Spline Systems (NL) will demonstrate the ShopBot Desktop machine combined with the DeskProto 3D CAM software.

DeskProto offers various options for rotation axis machining: both continuous rotation and ‘indexed machining’, meaning automatically machining from several sides, are possible.
