DryShips Inc. (Nasdaq: DRYS) fell to a loss for the third quarter of 13 cents per share compared with earnings of 7 cents per share in the year ago period as shipping rates dropped. Shares of the drybulk shipper dropped 41 cents to close at $1.67.
