Robert Lauri and Yaacov Alvo of the band ALEF are planning to go on a world tour once again.
PR Log - Apr 17, 2013 - Some years ago, Robert Lauri embarked on a mystical phase of his music and created the band ALEF. This was an original concept by Robert Lauri that consisted of mixing hard-hitting, topical arrangements with texts from the Torah. Yaacov Alvo, a Hazan for many years, had in-depth knowledge of the holy texts of the Torah and adapted the Psalms of David to the music. Michel Bernholc and Robert Lauri composed the musical arrangements. Yaacov Alvo and Robert Lauri did the vocals. Reunification of the Jewish community is the driving force of the band ALEF.
Success was immediate on the airwaves. They went to the US to present their album. Jewish radio stations in New York got the ball rolling from there. The sacred and prophetic Psalms of David were revealed to all nations of the world. They toured the United States, Canada, France, Britain, Switzerland, Australia, Belgium and many others.
Their gigs included appearing on a U.S. telethon after winning over audiences in Europe. Some great performance venues, such as the Olympia, Zénith, the Palais des Congrès and others had ALEF performing in front of enthusiastic audiences. The ALEF’s music was heard worldwide and even made it into the Top 50.
In 2013, the band ALEF with Robert Lauri and Yaacov Alvo are once again on a world tour.
