UPDATE: Eaton Posts Rise In Q4 Earnings

Eaton Corp PLC (NYSE: ETN ) reported a rise in its fourth-quarter earnings. Eaton's quarterly profit surged to $479 million, or $1 per share, from a year-ago profit of $179 million, or $0.46 per share. Excluding one-time items, its operating earnings climbed to $1.08 per share from $0.82 per share.
