Bottle Shock Again: America Beats Out Europe in Vodka Competition

In a modern day version of Bottle Shock, the premier distilled spirit of the Aristocrat Group Corp. (OTCBB: ASCC) stunned the world by overcoming the competition’s 500 years of crafting experience in Europe by winning a gold medal at the recent United Vodka Competition in Varna, Bulgaria.

Bottle Shock refers to the famous 1976 wine tasting, Judgment in Paris, in which little-known U.S. wines shocked the world by defeating more highly-regarded French wines. The results of the tasting opened the door for the production of first-class wines from the U.S.

RWB Ultra-Premium Handcrafted Vodka’s victory in Bulgaria is reminiscent of the story of Bottle Shock. Almost 40 years after the Judgment of Paris forever changed the wine industry, RWB Vodka’s triumph over celebrated Eastern European vodkas could potentially have a similar impact on the distilled spirits industry and how American-made vodka is viewed.

“As with the California wines defeating their French competitors almost 40 years ago, RWB showed its amazing quality to beat out Eastern European vodka at the United Vodka Competition in Bulgaria last month,” ASCC CEO Robert Federowicz said. “With RWB’s victory, American vodka has finally broken ground in Europe.”

ASCC is working to build a portfolio of successful brands to compete in a highly profitable sector alongside LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton (OTCBB: LVMUY), Diageo PLC (NYSE: DEO), BEAM, Inc. (NYSE: BEAM) and Brown-Forman Corp. (NYSE: BF-B). By handling its own distribution business, ASCC hopes to capitalize on unprecedented new brand building opportunities through Luxuria Brands, its brand management division.
