  • Their choice of one of the following:
    • 10 Standard Hosted Exchange mailboxes and 1 Gb of SharePoint for one year
    • 100 Gb of Online Backup for one year
  • Recognition on the Time Warner Cable Business Class website, social properties and related “Small Business, Big Impact” materials

Time Warner Cable Business Class and its associates work closely with small businesses in Charlotte and continue to witness their success firsthand. The Small Business Association reports that 23 million U.S. small businesses account for 54 percent of all U.S. sales and 55 percent of all jobs; through “Small Business, Big Impact,” Time Warner Cable Business Class is celebrating the positive and major impact small businesses have on the Charlotte and United States economies.

“Charlotte is a thriving market for small businesses with strong development and growth,” said Bob Morgan, president and CEO of Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. “We are seeing tremendous work being done within our community, and it’s great that there is a program out there honoring small businesses.”

A recent Time Warner Cable Business Class national survey from May 2014 revealed 80 percent of U.S. small businesses believe their customers expect free WiFi and also rank it as a top way to attract new customers, but only 43 percent of businesses surveyed offer it, showing that even though small businesses recognize a technology need, they are not taking the plunge. “Small Business, Big Impact” is celebrating Charlotte customers who have realized business and customer experience improvements through the use of technology.

“Small businesses are at the heart of our economy in the United States,” said Maureen Link, Group Vice President, Small Business, Time Warner Cable Business Class. “It’s important to recognize the great work being done in Charlotte and how businesses are succeeding through their use of technology, enabling them to lead by example. We hope this contest will serve as a guide for other businesses, challenging them to unlock their true potential and embrace technology.”

We are hoping the contest will help raise awareness of how small businesses can manage their operations more efficiently, help increase productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty – which can ultimately have a big impact on their success.
