hhgregg Announces New Store Location at Northgate Mall in Cincinnati

Leading appliance, electronics and furniture retailer hhgregg (NYSE: HGG), today announced the grand opening of a new location in Cincinnati’s Northgate Mall (9501 Colerain Avenue). The store, which opens to the public on Thursday, July 10, will provide customers more convenient access to hhgregg’s high-quality product selection, superior customer service and highly trained sales associates.

To celebrate the store’s debut, hhgregg will hold a Grand Opening Sale July 10-19 at all Cincinnati-area locations.

“Opening additional and updated store locations allows us to further our commitment to inspiring and delighting our guests with best-in-class customer service and convenience,” said Dennis May, hhgregg CEO. “This new location and grand opening events in Cincinnati allow us to further ingrain ourselves in the community where our associates and customers work and live.”

The Northgate Mall hhgregg store will open to the public at 10 a.m. on July 10, and the first 250 customers in line will receive a $10 hhgregg gift card. Through July 19, the store will offer special pricing on products such as televisions, home appliances, furniture and electronics, as well as a new selection of wearable technology including the Jawbone Up24 and Samsung Galaxy Gear watch.

The store will also host giveaways with prizes including an LG Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliance Suite, a five-piece living room package, an LG 55” LED HDTV, a Samsung tablet, and four tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game. By registering to win these prizes, customers will automatically win an instant prize of an hhgregg gift card ranging from $10 to $100.

Additional grand opening events on July 10 include:

• Free food from and drinks from a coffee truck (8 a.m.-10:30 a.m.) and Red Sesame Food Truck (11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
• Appearance by Cincinnati Reds’ mascot “Rosie Red” and ticket giveaway (5:30-7:30 p.m.)
• WUBE Country Radio with DJ Jason Statt will give away four three-day passes to Buckle Up Music Festival (noon-2 p.m.)
