(NASDAQ: SPLS) officially launched the 2014 back-to-school season today by announcing three ways to save throughout the season, a selection of exclusive new products and a program to support teachers across the country. Staples launched the season by ringing the “first bell” to open the Nasdaq market.

According to a recent Staples Back-to-School Survey, 53% of back-to-school shoppers say the best time to buy supplies is one month before the first day of class.
