Week Ahead Market Report: August 11, 2014

The US markets are higher in early afternoon trading, with the Dow up 0.27%, the S&P higher by 0.46% and the Nasdaq up 0.80%. Some of the most actively traded stocks include Kinder Morgan (KMI), up 11%, MannKind (MNKD) up 5.15%, Apple (AAPL) up 1.2% and Bank of America (BAC) just about flat.
