In trading on Thursday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 4.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Energy XXI (EXXI), off about 16.8% and shares of Forest Oil Corporation (FST) off about 13.7% on the day.
