Project Frog CEO Honored by Goldman Sachs for Entrepreneurship

Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing Project Frog CEO Ann Hand as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2014 at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California.

Goldman Sachs selected Hand as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. After serving as BP’s SVP of Global Brand, Marketing and Innovation, Hand joined Project Frog in 2009 to expand the product offering and drive sales of component buildings. The team has quadrupled under her leadership and she has established brand equity in an industry where little exists. The company will deliver 150,000 square feet of classrooms this year and is developing new platforms for healthcare facilities and data centers. In 2015, Project Frog is expected to quadruple its revenue, with more than half coming from booked backlog.

“I’m honored to be included on this list along with other bold entrepreneurs,” said Ann Hand, Project Frog CEO. “In our efforts to disrupt construction, we often look outside our industry for inspiration, and are grateful to Goldman Sachs for creating an opportunity for us to engage with other innovative business leaders.”

For more than 140 years, Goldman Sachs has been advising and financing entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses. In addition to honoring 100 entrepreneurs, the summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by Goldman Sachs experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.

"We are honored to recognize Ann Hand as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2014," said David Solomon, co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. "This is the third year for the summit and our goal remains the same. We pair seasoned and emerging entrepreneurs -- the builders and innovators -- from a diverse set of industries to discuss how to make vital, enduring companies that reshape industries and boost the world's economies through innovation."
