Orion Energy Systems Receives Commitments for $2.1 Million in Recent Orders From U.S. Federal Agency

Orion Energy Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: OESX) ("Orion" or the "Company"), a leading designer and manufacturer of energy management systems consisting primarily of high-performance, energy-efficient lighting platforms, today announced Orion has been awarded commitments from a major U.S. Federal agency totaling $2.1 million. This agency operates in excess of 30,000 offices across the country.

Orion will retrofit five different government facilities in separate locations throughout the country with a combination of Orion products, 80% of which are LED fixtures and controls. All installations will be completed by the end of the 2015 fiscal year.
