Media General, Inc. to Report Third-Quarter 2014 Results on November 6, 2014

Media General, Inc. (NYSE: MEG), a local broadcast television and digital media company, will report its third-quarter 2014 results on Thursday, November 6, 2014, before the market opens. The company will not host a conference call.

The Department of Justice announced its approval for Media General’s proposed merger with LIN Media LLC on Thursday, October 30, 2014. The transaction is subject to the approval of the Federal Communications Commission and certain third-party consents. Media General expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of 2014.
