Hudson’s Bay Company Announces Appointment of Jon K. Nordeen as Chief Information Officer

Hudson’s Bay Company ("HBC" or the "Company") (TSX:HBC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jon K. Nordeen to the position of Chief Information Officer, effective November 2014.

Mr. Nordeen joins HBC with more than 25 years of information systems and management experience. Most recently, Mr. Nordeen served Kohl’s Department Stores in several roles including EVP Merchandise Planning, EVP Administration, and EVP Chief Information Officer. Prior to Kohl’s, Jon was CIO at Spiegel Group where he was responsible for all information systems services for its five divisions – Eddie Bauer, Spiegel Catalog, Newport News Catalog, Distribution Fulfillment Services, and First Consumers National Bank. He has also held a variety of management roles at Target Corporation.

Mr. Nordeen studied computer science, accounting and corporate finance at Michigan State University and Wayne State University. He currently serves on advisory boards at Altierre Corp and MyStyleGenie.
