Sponsorship to Honor this Year’s Inductees into the Madison County Military Heritage Commission Hall of Heroes

The Huntsville law firm of Morris, King & Hodge announced today that it is a proud sponsor of the 2014 Tinsel Trail. The firm is sponsoring a Christmas tree that will be displayed in Big Spring Park to honor this year’s inductees into the Madison County Military Heritage Commission Hall of Heroes.
The Tinsel Trail consists of approximately 200 trees that decorate Big Spring Park throughout the holiday season. Local citizens, groups and corporations sponsor and decorate each tree. The event was founded by The Downtown Forty-Seven, a group of community leaders dedicated to revitalizing Huntsville’s downtown area.
The Tinsel Trail runs through January 4, 2015 and trees are lit each day from dusk until midnight. The display is free and open to the public. Approximately 10,000 people viewed the trees in 2011, the first year of the event. That number has grown to an average of 32,000 visitors each ensuing year.
Morris, King & Hodge is dedicating its sponsorship to six military veterans inducted in the 2014 class of the Hall of Heroes. The Hall, which is sponsored by the Madison County Military Heritage Commission and the Madison County Commission, honors the contributions of the local men and women who served their country with distinction. It is located in the lobby of the Madison County Courthouse and open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.
