Job hunting site Glassdoor just released a list of the tech companies that offer the best employee benefits.
One benefit caught our eye: VMware offers its employees "Infertility Services."
The cost of infertility treatment could easily run $10,000 to $25,000.
We contacted VMware and asked for details and were told that VMware's health plan pays 100%, after $15 copay, for the diagnosis and treatment of an underlying medical condition impacting fertility.
And it pays half of allowable charges (up to $7,000) for Advanced Reproductive Technology — like fertility medication and in vitro fertilization — and half (up to $3,000) for medication for Combined Comprehensive Infertility Services and ART.
It's not the only tech company that goes above and beyond to offer employees such help.
Microsoft has always been known for its fantastic family-oriented benefits, too. It offers adoption assistance.
