Regulator extends Fannie, Freddie's participation in foreclosure prevention programs

WASHINGTON, May 8 (Reuters) - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac's regulator on Friday extended for another year the mortgage finance firms' participation in the government's main foreclosure prevention programs.
