Bluedrop and EFE Announce Partnership to Tackle Middle East Workforce Development

ST. JOHN'S, NL / ACCESSWIRE / May 14, 2015 / Bluedrop Learning Networks (BLN) is pleased to announce a contract with Education For Employment (EFE) to better equip marginalized groups in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to find meaningful employment. In these first two projects, Bluedrop will help EFE deploy learning technology to improve outcomes and scale their offerings for unemployed MENA youth.

This partnership follows Bluedrop's commitment at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) meeting in New York City, last September, made before His Majesty Abdullah II King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to bring workforce learning technology to help Jordan to cope with an unprecedented influx of Syrian Refugees.

The Bluedrop-EFE partnership was debuted as part of a landmark Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Commitment to Action on youth employment, announced by President Bill Clinton at the opening plenary of the CGI Middle East & Africa meeting held in Marrakech, Morocco on 6 May, 2015.

Bluedrop will serve as the technology partner for an Arabic language blended retail sales learning program for disadvantaged youth in Jordan. As part of its commitment to bring scale and improved outcomes to workforce development globally, Bluedrop will also provide co-investment to bring the Jordanian project to fruition. Separately, Bluedrop will work with EFE to provide a youth employability demonstration module to support a major bank the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
