Newell Rubbermaid offers pension payout to 3,300 former employees

Newell Rubbermaid Inc. said it plans to offer 3,300 former employees a lump-sum payment of their pension benefits by the end of the year in a move that aims to reduce the company’s U.S. pension-related obligations and related expenses.
