PPG Completes Acquisition of Remaining Interest in Chemfil Canada Joint Venture

PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) announced today that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of the remaining interest in Chemfil Canada Limited, a joint venture of PPG and Madinal Enterprises. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition enhances PPG’s pretreatment presence and capabilities in Canada. Chemfil Canada produces pretreatment products and general industrial chemicals for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and industrial customers in Canada. The acquired products and services will be offered under the PPG name.
