American Airlines Stock Climbs After Dow Jones Transportation Average Inclusion

American Airlines Group Inc.'s stock surged 1.4% in morning trade Wednesday, after S&P Dow Jones Indices said the airline will become a component of the 131-year-old Dow Jones Transportation Average , effective Oct. 15.
