Time Warner Cable News North Carolina and the League of Women Voters of North Carolina to Collaborate on a Series of Political Initiatives

Time Warner Cable News North Carolina (TWC News North Carolina)and the League of Women Voters of North Carolina, a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, today announced they will work together on a series of key nonpartisan political initiatives.

The collaboration will feature co-sponsored leading contender debates beginning in 2016, as well as a series of voter education specials, vignettes and public service announcements leading up to key political races in an effort to help inform North Carolinians about recent changes to the voting process. The co-produced voter education specials and vignettes will air on TWC News North Carolina and the network’s website, as well as on the League of Women Voters of North Carolina’s website.
