Help Bright One Media find their leading lady and make their independent movieSYDNEY, Australia – December 1, 2015 – Bright One Media recently announced a search for a lead actress, for their upcoming film, “The Dancer and the Boxer.” This independent, Australian movie that follows a boxer married to a dancer. For their leading lady, Bright One Media’s lead woman must be able to act and dance ballet. They don’t want to use a body double if they can help it, and they don’t want an actress who can dance a little, they need someone who can dance well.
“The Dancer and the Boxer” need a leading lady that is a bit out of the ordinary with a different look, a different sound, a different feel, or even a distinctive voice. They want someone innovative, unusual, and creative. What they really want is someone who can make us believe she is a real dancer, married to a professional boxer.
If any interested parties would love to play this role, please tell them to audition. Bright One Media needs an engaging actress who can read two pages of the script and convince them that she’s the one perfect for the role. Request four pages and they will send interested parties two or four pages of the script to read. People can audition for them online, using YouTube, Facebook, sending clips, a dance, or even a link.
However, before these filmmakers can find their leading lady and make their movie, Bright One Media needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $30,000 AUD by January 10, 2016. The funds raised will go towards renting equipment, shooting the film, and finishing post-production.
