His unique take on fostering strong, healthy vibrant relationships in the workplace and at home has left a mark on those who have heard him speak or attended his trainings. In recognition of his ongoing, worldwide effort to help others live a passionate, purposeful life by building vibrant relationships, Broniec recently received a Circle of Honor award from the ManKind Project (MKP) at the World Elder Gathering (WEG) in Hawaii.
Broniec was at the World Elder Gathering (WEG) to present his workshop on “The Seven Generations Story.” Also the basis for his recent best-selling book, “The Seven Generations Story: An Incentive to Heal Yourself, Your Family and the Planet”, the seven generations philosophy explores the Native American ethic of thinking seven generations into the past and future when making decisions or trying to foster healing. Broniec helps workshop attendees look honestly at their family stories, both spoken and unspoken. A legacy in the form of trauma, alcoholism, sexual abuse or mental illness can be passed on from generation to generation. The way to stop that unhealthy process is to look honestly at those legacies, talk openly about them, and bring healing into the current generation so it is not passed on further.
Presented by The ManKind Project’s Hawaiian Elder community, the goal of WEG Hawaii was to expand the circles in attendees’ lives. Broniec was a featured speaker because of his focus on establishing stronger connections with ancestors and building a more sustainable world for future generations. The ManKind Project International® is an education and training organization, which supports over 1,000 men’s groups around the world and encourages them to become the men they were meant to be to make life better for themselves and their families.
The Circle of Honor Award is a “Lifetime Achievement Award” which is bestowed for service by this international men’s service organization. Since its founding in 1985, only ten of these prestigious awards have been presented. “I was thrilled and honored to become a member of the Circle of Honor,” commented Broniec. “I have worked with The ManKind Project leading the New Warrior Adventure Training, as well as teaching on other topics, because I believe so passionately in the ability of awareness to bring positive transformation to individuals, families, and businesses.
