UPDATE 1-UPS fourth quarter profit surges, gives robust outlook

CHICAGO, Feb 2 (Reuters) - United Parcel Service Inc on Tuesday reported a significantly higher quarterly net profit on a solid performance during the crucial holiday season, and gave a solid earnings outlook for 2016 despite warning of uncertain economic conditions.
