Nasdaq 100 Movers: WDC, VRTX

In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 3.6%. Year to date, Vertex Pharmaceuticals has lost about 30.7% of its value.
