In trading on Wednesday, the First Trust Energy AlphaDEX Fund ETF (FXN) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3.2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of SM Energy (SM), up about 15% and shares of Williams Companies (WMB), up about 9.1% on the day.
