Downsizing Caterpillar opens first Chicago office as analytics focus grows

Caterpillar this week opened its first Chicago office, the latest among big companies to push into the city’s downtown to attract tech-savvy talent and in Caterpillar’s case, claim an address close to the analytics firm it has a stake in.
