In trading on Thursday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Cliffs Natural Resources (CLF), down about 5.8% and shares of Century Aluminum Company (CENX) off about 4.7% on the day.
