Wells Fargo agrees to $110 million settlement over fake accounts

The settlement of the lawsuit, which must be approved by the court, covers customers who said Wells opened an account in their name without authorization, enrolled them in products or services without their consent or submitted an application for a product or service in their name without consent from Jan. 1, 2009 to the settlement date.
