No letup to CFPB investigation into Equifax, Mulvaney says

A federal consumer-finance regulator’s probe of the data breach at Equifax Inc. hasn’t changed since the Trump administration took over the agency, the interim head of the agency said Tuesday, dismissing a report suggesting that it had pulled back from the investigation.
