US lawmakers question airline fees, seating policies

Several lawmakers are seeking more information about airline fees and seating policies. The queries come after JetBlue and United raised checked bag fees $5 to $30 for a first bag and airlines have started to sell preferred seats, those without extra legroom that are often toward the front of the plane.
