Hertz stock jumps as company’s earnings beat revives turnaround hopes

Shares of Hertz Global Holdings Co. skyrocket Friday after investors cheered the car-rental company’s well-above-expectations third-quarter earnings and some went as far as saying Hertz had turned a corner.
