Korean battery manufacturer to invest $1.6B, create 2,000 jobs in Jackson County

A Korean developer and manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for hybrid electric vehicles is pledging a major investment in northeast Geogia that would create more than 2,000 jobs, according to Gov. Nathan Deal's Office.
